No Child Left Behind
October 29, 2008
The Nata Primary School has been extending its teaching because the of the growing population in Nata, more young children are registering for Primary School. No child is left behind-teachers make sure no child is left behind by creating classes outside of classrooms. “I think that’s great because it allows more children to attend school, and that is the greatest priority.”

Accomplishments for Wednesday, Oct. 22, that my group revised over our script because we didn’t fully get the understanding of how the talk show would be done and the questions asked. We were supposed to film today but unfortunately the classmate that was suppose to provide the camera for us did not bring it. Also the brochure, Joselyn, should be put together. We must film to tomorrow there is now more time especially because we have an extended due date on Oct. 27.

Accomplishments for Monday, Oct. 20, was that our script for the talk show had to be officially done with both of our parts of the script and Joselyn would print it in school on Tuesday. Both me and Joselyn managed to check up on all our journal entries to make sure nothing was out of place.

Accomplishments on Sunday, Oct. 19, were that I finished the newspaper, and I collaborated with my team on the phone. My team decided that we would work on the project and talk over the phone. We talked about what we had to do, completed the newspaper, (joselyn) will work on brochure on Monday, film at school Monday for talk show, remember to bring makeup and costume for filming on Monday. There’s a bit of a problem with the costuming for Joselyn because she has to be Benjamin Franklin and in the old days they had ruffles around their neck and she doesn’t have any, so I’m trying to make them (very hard to do). I also need the ruffles for my costume as well. Talk show script finished. I forgot to mention that on Saturday Oct. 18, I watched the Late Show on youtube with David Letterman, and I got a glimpse of what a talk show host does and the interviewer. I actually watched Emma Watson w/ David Letterman 7/11/08. I’m not sure if it was ‘08 or’07. Today I told to watch it also so we both kind of have the same perspective on the same show. And also put in her part of the script and of course blog. Also borrowing a digital camera from a classmate, unfortunately I don’t have mines any more and for some reason Joselyn’s digital camera can’t record any more.

Accomplishments for Saturday, Oct. 18, was that I started on the newspaper on Microsoft Word, because I don’t have Microsoft Publisher on my computer, well at least I can’t find it. I spent over the first half an hour to an hour trying different ways to make my newspaper look somewhat like a newspaper.

The accomplishments for Thursday, Oct 16, was that we got to collaborate in class face to face after collaborating over the phone for the past three days. After being notified by the our social studies teacher, who assigned this webquest to us, that we each had to have our own task so we decided that we would stick with the first quest and task that we were doing before together. I chose the second quest and task, being a report from the Philadelphia Gazette and reporting on the constitutional convention. Joselyn chose the third quest and task, being a public relations worker and making a 60 second comercial advertising to the other delegates to either support or decline the constitutional convention. I managed to finish half of the questions that I am suppose to answer for the newspaper. And Joselyn is working on whats going to be on the commercial. I can’t beleive how fast I found some of these answers, I thought it would take me forever.
